1. The Government of Indonesia has received a Loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the Development of World Class University with Socio Entrepreneurial Spirit at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Republic of Indonesia. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract resulting from the bidding for which this prequalification is conducted.
Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen (PPK) as the representative of Kuasa Pengguna Anggaran (KPA) on behalf of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (referred to as the “Purchaser”), intends to prequalify suppliers and/or firms regarding Procurement of Equipment for Science and Technology Laboratories of “Package 9 : SGLC and ERIC”.
2. General Description of Work
The site is located at UGM Yogyakarta for the buildings under 7 Faculties involved in this project.
Package 9:
SGLC Smart and Green Learning Center
ERIC Engineering Research Innovation Center
The work is anticipated to commence in May 2022.
3. Requirements for Prequalification
Prequalification is open to applicants who meet to the following requirements.
a) The applicant shall submit an application demonstrating that they meet or exceed the required qualifications and relevant experience to provide scientific goods and services.
b) The applicant will be required to submit document including, but not limited to company profile, legality of company, description of similar projects completed in the last five (5) years, and qualifications and competencies of the key personnel
c) Applicants must demonstrate an average annual sales turnover for the last 5 years of USD 14,000,000 or more in equivalent currency.
d) Five years of financial documentation must be provided.
e) The applicant, or their Local Agent, must register their business entity in the Republic of Indonesia. The presentation of the mandatory documents for the business such as NIB, and NPWP as PKP is necessary.
f) Applicants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to improve their
Qualifications.
4. Prequalification documents can be obtained from the office of Project Implementation Unit, Universitas Gadjah Mada (PIU-UGM), Yogyakarta from October 13, 2021 to October 29, 2021 during working hours from 9:00 to 16:00 (WIB). The company must provide an authorization letter stating the name of the person collecting the prequalification document on behalf of the company.
5. The PQ document fee per copy is free. PIU-UGM provides only one document for one applicant.

7. The applicants shall submit the prequalification document before 10:00 (WIB) on November 5, 2021 to the same address as above. Late application submission will be rejected.
8. The invitation for Bids is expected to be released in November 2021 to the qualified bidders.
